Basketball Regional Tournaments

NCHBC Regional Tournaments will have 5 Regional Tournaments on Feb 27, 28 and March 1st

The Tournaments will be held in 5 locations that will make it easy fro virtually every HomeSchool team to attend.

The NCHBC has five Regional Tournaments located in Indianapolis IN, Dallas TX, Nashville TN, Quincy, IL and Oklahoma City OK leading up to the National Tournament in Springfield, Missouri.

• Southeast Regional - Location TBA  - February 27, 28 and March 1, 2014
   

• South Central Regional -- Oklahoma City, OK -- February 27, 28 and March 1, 2014
   

• Heartland Regional Quincy, IL -- February 27, 28 and March 1, 2014

• Lone Star Regional -- Dallas TX -- February 27, 28 and March 1, 2014
  

• Midwest Regional Indianapolis, IN -- February 27, 28 and March 1, 2014

The main purpose of the Regional Tournaments is to assist the National Tournament Seeding Committee to help properly seed each team for the National Tournament in Springfield, MO. (All tournaments are open to teams that do not plan to attend Nationals.)

The Regional Tournaments are also the primary way to provide exposure for All-Region and All-American Candidates prior to the final ballot being cast by each Regional coach. Additionally the Regional Tournaments are designed to provide competitive tournaments leading up to the National Tournament.

Regional System designed to do the following for 18U:

1. Automatic bids for Division 1 (Girls)
   
2. All-Region Teams
   
3. Exposure for All-American Candidates
   
4. Guaranteed one of the eight #1 Seeds
   (For the Winner of each Regional Tournament)
5. Guaranteed All-American game participants
   (at least 10 players from each Region will voted as All American or All Region for participate in Wednesday night's Showcase game)
