18u Division III is our hottest division here is the criteria:
This Championship Division is available at both Regionals & Nationals, it is for young 18u teams that meet one of the following criteria:
A team with no more than two players older then 16 as of September 1st of the school year.
A team that has an average age of 16.00 (or less) when combining the ages of their top 6 players (starting 5 players and 6th man/woman) as of September 1st of the school year.
In a rare situation an 18u team that registered for Division I that does not get seeded into the top division could be moved into DivisionIII, however if a team does not meet one of the two listed requirements (above) they may not opt into DivisionIII.
Brackets: NCHBC Post Season Brackets are released 5-7 days before the tournament start date. Seeding: All Coaches will have an opportunity to fill out a seeding form and share input during the multi step seeding process. Award Nomination: All Coaches will have an opportunity to make NCHBC end of the year award nominations.

Admission– There will be admission fees for adults and students (not for players and coaches)
Boys 12-18 age divisions use a boy’s basketballs. All others use a 28.5 size basketball.
